5th & 6th Class were learning about wind turbines in term 1 – To enhance their understanding, they were giving the task to build a wind turbine that turned, and was able to wind up a string……..

To celebrate Irish Sign Language Week, the boys and girls practiced their ISL skills during some Speed chats with our 5th and 6th Class pupils 🙂

Maths Week 2025 was a big hit – We started off the week playing Maths Quizzes & Games, and we also took out the Ipads to engage in some interactive learning. The classes also enjoyed getting some fresh air as they took on a busy Maths trail, with the week ending is a very exciting game of Whole School Bingo 🙂

On Wednesday, we held our End of Year Assembly, a wonderful celebration of our students’ hard work and achievements. Each class took to the stage with performances they had prepared, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and talent.

We also took the opportunity to recognise outstanding achievement by presenting the Student of the Year awards for each class. Congratulations to all our recipients — we are incredibly proud of you!

It was a memorable way to close out the school year. Well done to everyone involved!

We celebrated our End of Year School Mass on Tuesday 16th of June and what a lovely ceremony it was.

Well done to our wonderful 6th class pupils as they celebrated all of their achievements in SHNS. We have no doubt that they will all continue to do us proud😊
